But what do we do?
You may have read through all these pages, but a question we all must answer is how do humans affect this biome? Well just like any other environment system, a constant struggle here would be how we interact with the animals. Farmers have been a major harm to the animals, shooting foxes and the lynx that come near, claiming they are pest. Some of this is even causing endangerment. Another problem is the deforestation that is clearing away animals home, but this is mostly in Russia as the government needed the money. Another component is the acid rain by pollution caused by the burning of fossil fuels. But, though negative, there are some positives that humans have done for the Taiga; reducing the amount of hunting in the area, and even starting to protect the forests. Laws in Canada have regulated hunting and the Clean Air Council help to stop the factories that burn the fuel to keep our Taiga safe and the animals prosperous.
